Vroom, Vroom

September 12, 2010

What a busy summer!

It’s been a long time since I last posted and even longer since entering an iheartfaces weekly challenge.  What better week to get back into the swing of things then with this week’s theme …”vroom, vroom” !  One of the photoshoots I did this summer consisted of family pics at a junkyard … how awesome is that?  And I knew as soon as I saw the theme, that it was time to buckle down and start posting again!

I’ve known this family pretty much from the beginning (even photographed their wedding 16 years ago!), and while we don’t get together very often (they live some 1700 miles away for most of the year) thanks to social networking sites ~ the world becomes a much smaller place!   It has been very cool staying connected, watching everyone change, grow & have families, and even having our kids play together on the rare occassion when we can actually get together  🙂

Stay tuned for some fresh updates from this past summer … including more from the junkyard, and in the meantime, why don’t you head on over to iheartfaces and see some of the other fantastic “vroom, vroom” entries!
